Long time no see, Beer Lovers!
Do you ever feel discouraged by your lack of productivity? (Or is this just a New Yorker thing?) I know I definitely have lately. For the last couple months, all these lovely posts have felt like a whole lot of work — instead of passion. I took a little bit of time to refresh and prioritize, but I’m back 🙂
Anyway, enough of that. Here is my review about Lamplighter Brewing Company in Cambridge, MA (Boston)
I visited Lamplighter Brewing Company twice within my short, 2 week period in Boston. I was really feeling the beer, artwork, and community. Between casual events including a coaster artwork contest and holiday cookie decorating – this brewery is giving their customers a chance to be creative in their space. They also double as a coffee shop during the day & early afternoon called Longfellows Café — which is brilliant, in my opinion.
This was a place I spent an evening catching up with some friends – as well as grabbing a couple beers with my parents. If I lived in the area, I would definitely grab a coffee and working until it was a socially acceptable time to work and drink beer 🙂
Finding a brewery that does a large variety of styles well isn’t always easy, but from their Major Tom NE IPA to Moondance Milk Stout to Group Theory Wheat Ale, you are bound to find a beer that everyone will enjoy — from your beer critic friends to your “I Don’t Like Beer” frenemies.
From regular pours to samplers and board games to events, I would definitely check this place out during your next trip to Boston. Oh and try, Little Donkey when you are in the area. I will definitely be back when Boston stops getting hit with snowstorms.
*Cheers*
