3 Superbowl Sunday Guinness Recipes

Preparing for your Superbowl party? Here are 3 killer recipes that will surely please.
And while you’re at it, sip on a strong Irish Coffee

Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes with Guinness, Bulleit, & Bailey’s Irish Cream
This is definitely my favorite recipe. Followed the above-linked recipe without substitutions – thank you, Paper Blog.
Making these cupcakes from scratch was totally worth the extra time. First time ever making my own frosting – with a handheld whisk it was a nice little arm workout.
And you will have leftover Guinness, Bulleit, & Bailey’s – so Cheers!

Beer Slow Cooker Mac & Cheese with Guinness
Super happy with the outcome of this recipe as well. Keep in mind this one takes 4+ hours depending on your slow cooker’s settings. A few substitutions & additions here:

  • 2 cups of coconut milk instead of regular
  • omitted the pub burger seasoning
  • added bacon bits after adding the cheese sauce

This was my boyfriend’s personal favorite of the 3 recipes – and just as good the 2nd day!

Salted Beer Pretzel Pigs in a Blanket with Guinness
These more or less tasted the same regular crescent roll pigs in a blanket – which I really didn’t have a problem with. I substituted a bottle os pilsner for Guinness. How they made the crescents look like little footballs is beyond me – I will leave that to the professional food stylists out there. Tastes great with Honey Beer Mustard, also with Guinness or your favorite creamy stout!
